Forbidden Transmissions?

Ugh.  They really just won’t let it die, will they?  It’s been what…almost three YEARS now?  How pathetic and desperate are these people??  Her cronies will do anything they can to try to keep her relevant, even when everyone else has long since moved on.  If she’s not attacking people and making a mockery of activism, nobody gives a single fuck about Pinkiepony besides her bootsniffing handmaidens.  If Lily Peet has any kind of a brain, she’d think twice about dragging this out, lest her own transgressions (actually pretty damning, and for which there are mountains of evidence) be exposed.

It just goes to show that it was never about upholding any form of moral decency, or caring about any “feelings” besides those of Pinkiepony.  It’s always been about attacking others while pretending to be a victim, because she found out how much easier it is to get attention that way, rather than actually be someone interesting enough to be worth paying attention to.

It’s astounding how thoroughly emotionally manipulative she is.  The sad part is, I still want to believe that she doesn’t even realize she’s doing it.  I’m not sure how to feel about her as a person, but part of me still wants to give her the benefit of the doubt.  Either way, the hold she still manages to have over this small handful of people (such as Lily Peet) is honestly frightening, and they’re all so far gone that they’re completely unable to recognize it as manipulation.  It’s an extremely unhealthy relationship.

Once again, I urge others to look at the kind of psychological manipulation used by cult leaders, and take note of the similarities.  This is not at all an exaggeration–it’s the exact, same type of behavior.  It’s something I’ve come to be very familiar with while studying forensic psychology, and the mentality of cults.  We can only hope that it won’t get to a point where either she’s put in danger because of their obsession with her, or her followers are further taken advantage of by her.  It wouldn’t take much for her to unlawfully fleece them out of thousands of dollars if she really wanted to.  Just look at what happened with Miss Pennsylvania.

I’m not sure what to make of any of these people anymore, except to feel sorry for them, and hope they can eventually live their own lives instead of trying to piggyback on someone else’s, as well as not hanging their supposed “appeal” on being a perpetual “damsel in distress”.  It’s not healthy for any of them.  Remember:  These aren’t inherently “bad” people.  They’re just misguided, and in search of a way to feel “important” in this crapsack world.  Tumblr gave them a form of “power” they’ve never experienced before, and we all know how power easily corrupts a person, and can turn even the best of intentions sour.
